Get to Know Dr. Dan Frey
Dr. Daniel Frey was born and raised in the Lehigh Valley. From an early age he was active in youth soccer, eventually competing at a high level regionally around the United States.
Dr. Dan attended Emmaus High School, Moravian Academy, and graduated from Blair Academy in Blairstown, NJ, playing soccer at all three schools. He received Blair Academy’s outstanding award in film production.
After graduating from Blair Academy in 2005 he attended Gettysburg College and played for the men’s varsity soccer team. He transferred to University of Pittsburgh after his freshman year. In Pittsburgh, PA he completed his pre-dental requisite courses at the University.
Dr. Dan was then admitted to Temple University’s dental school in Philadelphia, PA. In addition to maintaining a 3.9 GPA, he assisted the dental school’s soccer team in winning the graduate school championship. After graduating Summa Cum Laude from Temple Dental he was admitted to the highly competitive orthodontic residency at the University of the Pacific in San Francisco, CA. Here he studied orthodontics and treated patients alongside residents and faculty from around the world.
Currently, Dr. Dan Frey maintains part-time faculty status at the University of the Pacific orthodontic department. He is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists and the American Dental Association. In his free time he enjoys staying active outdoors, camping, music, cooking, and good company.
