Metal Braces
Damon Braces are tieless braces that don’t need to be tightened and are gentle to the teeth and tissues. Other style braces use elastic ties or active clips to bind archwires in place, which can slow down tooth movement and cause pain and are more difficult to keep clean. Our braces system also uses titanium wires. These type light, memory-shape wires have excellent formability and great efficiency range for gentle tooth movement. Clear Ceramic Braces
For a more aesthetic look we offer our clear, ceramic brackets with the same self-ligating, tieless brackets as our Damon Braces. Although these brackets are almost invisible, they are not as strong as our metal type Damon braces therefore we place them only on the top 6 front teeth and very occasionally on the bottom front teeth. Also clear braces require more attention to good oral hygiene, as they can pick up food and drink stains.
Invisalign (Invisible Braces)
Invisalign is a modern approach to treating orthodontic problems. It uses a series of clear, removable aligners to comfortably correct and straighten various crowding and bite issues. No one can tell you are wearing those aligners because they are invisible!
Because the aligners are removable you are not limited in what you can eat and drink during treatment. Plus… brushing and flossing are less of a hassle. The aligners are comfortable and have no metal to cause mouth abrasions during treatment. This is a great choice for adults and many teens and gives you social freedom.
